Breaking Barriers in Science and Technology

Revolutionizing Air Disinfection with UVC-LED Technology
The company’s R&D journey began in 2014, focusing on enhancing LED wavelength amplitudes for improved light wave divergence. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated innovation, leading to the development of the world’s first UVC-LED light with 93% UV-C transmission in 2021, which increased radiance by 500%. By 2023, further advancements raised this radiance increase to 1500%.
The Tryclops uses proprietary, patent-pending technology that is significantly more efficient and powerful than traditional mercury vapor lamps, which can emit ozone and pose health risks. In contrast, the Tryclops offers a safer, ozone-free solution for air disinfection.
Key Findings & Conclusion
Near-total disinfection of harmful pathogens like MRSA and SARS-CoV-2
Significant advancements in UVC-LED technology, including enhanced wavelength optimization and radiance intensity.
Superior power and safety compared to traditional mercury vapor lamps.
Revolutionizing Air Disinfection with UV-C LED Technology
UVC Science, Inc. has developed the Tryclops, an advanced UV-C LED air disinfection module designed for commercial HVAC systems. In testing, the Tryclops achieved a 99.998% reduction in Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and a 99.991% eradication of SARS-CoV-2 in 60 minutes. It also demonstrated unprecedented rapid reductions, including 81.46% for MRSA within the first 15 minutes and 98.73% in 30 minutes, while SARS-CoV-2 saw reductions of 49.54% in 15 minutes and 89.69% in 30 minutes setting a new benchmark for HVAC air disinfection.
